Late Summer of 2006

Well, time flew by and suddenly it was almost fall. Almost time to leave Chicago. So, did the focus of our picture taking shift at this point in an effort to capture some last images of our friends, the city, some favorite spots perhaps?

Of course not! Why would we do that? Geniuses that we are, we continued documenting our fascination with the most adorable baby ever.

Enjoy.

This is Aga (Agnes) with Charlie. Aga was Charlie's nanny after Peter moved, and was wonderful with Charlie. We couldn't have found anyone better.
Okay, there is really nothing I can say about these shots. The outfit, no, the tights, speak for themselves.
We were so lucky to be able to see Liam's parents so easily. They were just up in Wilmette, a short 20-minute drive from our house in Chicago. And of course, the drive was rewarded with doting grandparents (Bampa Mike above), delicious food and excellent wine.

Liam caught me cuddling with all of the babies in the sun room of Mark and Nicola's old condo (where we lived during the two months between the Albany house closing and our departure for Seattle).

The place was gorgeous - lots of light, old wood floors, updated kitchen and master bath, three bedrooms, a huge living room and dining room...

It was just too bad that we had no furniture. No, really. Everything was already in Seattle. All we had was Tori's stuff since she wasn't using it. Thank you Tori! So, this chair, a table and two folding chairs, two camping chairs, a futon, two end tables and two bar stools. Oh, and we splurged at Target and bought three dressers.

Needless to say, the furniture didn't begin to fill up the ~2300 square foot apartment.

Such cuties. But wait? What's Charlie looking at? She seems so focused...

Oh yes! That delectable tail that was about to pop up, providing hours and hours of entertainment!

Whenever I'm going through our photos, I have such a difficult time narrowing down the hundreds we take to just a handful. Not that I think I'm an excellent photographer or anything...I just have such an amazing model... :)

Hold onto your pants, she gets even happier...

And looks just like her father...

She's already figured out how to laugh at her father! Good girl! :)
