This is Shawna, Charlie's nanny from January through August.

Wow. I guess she really wanted that beer.

Here's a pic of Greenlake, a wonderful little lake in Seattle with a path that goes all the way around. It's a perfect day outing anytime of year, but especially so in summer when kids are swimming and there's always a lot going on.

This is at Shilshole beach, only minutes from our house. It's a lovely rocky beach, and Charlie was fascinated by the water.
This is liam's last paper for Northwestern. A momentous occasion, worth documentation.

We finally installed this light in our rental, thereby ridding ourselves of the hideous palm fronts ceiling fan. Good heavens what a relief that was!!
